CareKeeperHub Privacy Policy

CareKeeperHub is designed to help individuals and caregiving teams organize information used in caring for a loved one. This Privacy Policy explains the information that may be collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information You Provide
CareKeeperHub may allow users to provide account information such as a name and email address and to enter caregiving information such as notes, contacts, schedules, supply and food information, documents, medication information, emergency information, photographs, and messages.
Users should only enter information they are authorized to provide and share.
How Information Is Used
Information provided through CareKeeperHub is used to operate the app and provide its caregiving features, including organizing caregiving information, displaying saved information, communicating with caregiving team members where applicable, managing user accounts, and providing requested app functionality.
Photos and Documents
If a user chooses to attach a photograph or document, CareKeeperHub may request access to the device’s photo library or file storage. Access is used only when the user chooses to select or attach content through an applicable feature.
Location Information
Certain features may request location permission, such as providing directions to an address saved in Contacts. Location access is used to provide the requested functionality. CareKeeperHub does not use location information for advertising.
Notifications
CareKeeperHub may request permission to send notifications, including reminders related to scheduled caregiving events. Users can control notification permissions through their device settings.
Subscriptions and Payments
CareKeeperHub may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Subscription purchases and payment information are processed by Apple. CareKeeperHub does not directly receive or store a user’s complete payment-card information.
Service Providers
CareKeeperHub uses third-party technology providers to operate portions of the app. These may include Supabase for account or backend functionality, Google Firebase for certain app functionality such as chat, and Apple for App Store subscriptions and related services. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy and security practices.
Data Storage and Retention
Some CareKeeperHub information may be stored on the user’s device, while information used by online features may be processed or stored through CareKeeperHub’s service providers. Information is retained as necessary to provide the app’s functionality, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their CareKeeperHub account and associated account data through the account-deletion feature available within the app where provided, or by contacting CareKeeperHub at carekeeperhub@gmail.com.
Certain information may be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
Data Sharing
CareKeeperHub does not sell users’ personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the app, when directed by the user, when required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, CareKeeperHub, or others.
Security
CareKeeperHub uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
CareKeeperHub is not intended for use by children under 13. CareKeeperHub does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
