A big advantage is that the national average cost is about $61 per day (8 to 10 hours) compared to an average of $20 an hour for home care ($100 to $200 per day easy). Many people have delayed their entry into a nursing home by a year or two by using Day Care Services. Some facilities can even pick up the seniors and are flexible with a few hours or the whole day. The Adult Day Services’s have different programs and activities but there are three main types of facilities.
