We have had numerous questions dealing with the Meals on Wheels program and the Covid virus scare. They are doing everything they can to make it safe for both the volunteers who deliver the meals and for the meal recipients. Because many seniors can’t and shouldn’t get out the value of a good hot meal each day is even more valuable.
This is also a terrific time to review this program and remind younger people and families that there are very good volunteer opportunities with this wonderful program. The meals can come hot or frozen and are usually delivered in the 11am to 1pm time frame.
