Community Senior Centers are one of those “diamond in a rough” places that you find in life. Most suburban cities have them and there are national accreditations handed out. The events and activities are based on the individual center but can include card games / leagues, crafts, woodworking, book clubs, day trips, exercise classes, educational classes and much more.
Most of the activities are free and some just have a minor fee involved but there will be lots to choose from. Many times they also have “transportation options” for you if need be. Check these out, I bet you will be glad you did!
