Equadose Pill Crusher
Great and easy to use pill crusher.
Why would you need to use a pill crusher:
- It can be tough for seniors to swallow pills and with this crusher it is so easy to put the crushed up pills in apple sauce, yogurt or even ice cream (amazing what chocolate sauce can do). You can also have a senior that is “fighting” some or all of their pills and crushing can be a way to “mask” or hide the pills in food.
- I have had two dogs and one would swallow any pill that I gave her while the other one would spit out the pill no matter how hard I tried to fool her. I went to great lengths to hide pills in a clump of cheese or bread and every time the pooch would eat the food and spit out the pill with a defiant look. The crusher worded great, I would sprinkle it in with her food and some loose cheese or crumbled up meet and she would eat every bite. What we do for our pets!
